Love and Logic has some helpful strategies for parenting your kids. The name sounded weird to me, at first. Then I learned that it was basically LOVING your kids enough to set BOUNDARIES and let the LOGICAL consequences of choices teach them.
I will eventually add some articles and videos, but until then go check them out.
I use a lot of these strategies on my own children and my students. When applied correctly, it can help. It takes some practice, and I still mess up often. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
