Frequently Asked Questions

Technology instead of good pedagogy?

You will not likely ever have an educator, that makes the case for using technology, that suggests that tech should be used for every lesson. Solid pedagogy is at the forefront of our teaching.

When technology supports or enhances that, consider using it to the full. When it gets in the way, leave it behind.

When should I integrate technology?

It depends. A good way to look at using tech is the SAMR model. Do a search. There are different ways to use technology. The SAMR model can guide our thinking.

"The SAMR is a model designed to help educators infuse technology into teaching and learning. Popularized by Dr. Ruben Puentedura, the model supports and enables teachers to design, develop, and infuse digital learning experiences that utilize technology."
